Think Construction is a distinguished full-service general contractor and construction-management firm based in the bustling city of New York. Having specialized in high-end, intricately designed projects for over 20 years, our team meticulously focuses on delivering unparalleled attention to detail and a hands-on approach. Our foundation is deeply rooted in fostering honest relationships, which is reflected in our work with some of New York's most discerning architects, designers, and clients. As a midsize company, we proudly boast a strong in-house team of approximately 40 employees, allowing us the flexibility to dedicate our time and resources to each client and project. Our Story

Think Construction was founded by brothers Matthew and Tim Moss, who grew up with a passion for constructing distinctive residences in Vermont. Their enthusiasm for architecture and craft led them to study related fields in college, which eventually brought them back to construction. From the Green Mountains to the Hudson Valley and finally to New York City, the Moss brothers have developed a strong foundation in the industry. Think Construction was born out of their first-hand knowledge of architecture, craft, and technical expertise, ensuring that each project benefits from their extraordinary design sensibility. Our team's love for what we do is evident in the pride we take in delivering the highest levels of quality and service.

Service, Maintenance, and Small Projects

At Think Construction, we understand the challenges of homeownership, which is why our Service & Maintenance department is dedicated to addressing the "little things" that may cause headaches for our clients. We offer customized care and attention to a wide variety of tasks, ranging from nagging problems like a door that won't close properly to installing wall shelving or routine maintenance like changing HVAC filters, power-washing patios, or resealing countertops and touching up tile grout.

Our services extend beyond home maintenance. We are also equipped to handle small projects, such as apartment repainting, floor refinishing, soundproofing rooms, replacing kitchen cabinets, or renovating bathrooms. Our team provides assistance with planning, designing, and building projects of any scale.

We are also prepared for emergencies. Whether it's a last-minute door hinge repair before a big party or addressing water damage caused by a burst pipe, our team is just a phone call away.

Pre-Construction Services

If you are contemplating a larger renovation project, Think Construction offers pre-construction services that streamline construction, budgeting, and scheduling. Our team manages asbestos abatement, probes and mockups, utility inspections and disconnects, temp services, demolition, security, pest control, and more, ensuring a seamless transition from planning to execution.

The heart and soul of our Client Services Department is a dedicated team of project managers and site personnel. They work tirelessly in our clients' finished homes, providing extraordinary service with a delicate hand. No job is too small for our team, as we pride ourselves on our ability to address even the most minor requests with the same level of care and attention to detail.
