Re-imagining the Natural World
We are a digital fabrication company that uses advanced robotic and CNC manufacturing methods to create uncommon and distinctive projects for global brands, major retailers, and the architecture, art, and design industries. Founded in 2009 by Ezra Ardolino and currently run by Ezra and his wife Ania, Timbur explores the intersection of design, materiality, and robotics as a source for re-imagining the natural world. With years of experience serving high-profile clients like Daniel Arsham, Bjarke Ingels Group, and SHoP Architects, we are adept at solving unique and complex challenges for the built environment. A natural next step in our evolution, we launched our own product design division, pulling from our deep roots in digital fabrication to create objects that blur the line between hi-tech and handcrafted, natural and fabricated, functional and artistic. All Timbur products are made in the USA using sustainable materials and processes.
Our Team
Ezra Ardolino, educated as an architect, explores the intersection of design, materiality, and robotics as a source for re-imagining the fabricated world. He has also spent time researching digital fabrication and teaching architecture at Cornell University and Pratt Institute. Ania Ardolino joined Timbur as a partner in 2015. Ania holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and brought 15 years of corporate business experience to Timbur. Charged with overseeing business development, human resources, and operations, Ania is an integral part of Timbur's growth and success.
