Our Story

With over 25 years of experience in gardening and 15 years in the software/technical world, Carol established V VM Designs in 2003, combining her passion for plants and design with her management and organizational talents. She uses her ability to translate customer requirements into a finished product to create extraordinary landscape designs that meet the client's desires and needs. As a certified Landscape Designer in California, Carol is one of only 40 professionals to have completed the extensive juried certification process by APLD.

Our Philosophy

At V VM Designs, we believe that your yard is an extension of your home. Whether it's the front yard's first impression, the backyard's recreation and entertainment space, or the yard as the backdrop to/view from the inside of the home, we design landscapes that are both beautiful and functional. We focus on creating low-maintenance yards that require the least amount of resources, minimizing the need for water, pesticides, waste, and human sweat.
