Welcome to Vogels Buckman Appraisal Group, Inc., a real estate appraisal firm that was incorporated in 1989 with Richard Vogels, MAI as President and Mary Buckman, SRA as Vice President. Over the years, the firm has seen changes in leadership, with Mary acquiring the firm from Richard in December of 2011, and then Greg Fenendael and John Anderson acquiring the firm from Mary in October of 2020.

Our team of experienced appraisers has over 50 years of combined experience in the Northeastern Wisconsin real estate market. We offer competitive pricing and a quality work product for all of our clients, always adhering to the requirements of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice.

Our Team

Our team consists of dedicated professionals who have extensive knowledge and experience in the real estate industry. Greg Fenendael, a Wisconsin Certified General Appraiser, has been with Vogels Buckman since 1994. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Greg has completed many appraisals for lenders, attorneys, and private individuals for financing, estates, tax appeal, and foreclosures, as well as for decision-making purposes. He has also valued many properties for right of way acquisition, including both the condemning authority and the property owners.

John Anderson, also a Wisconsin Certified General Appraiser, joined Vogels Buckman in 1995. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a major in Business Administration and Marketing. John values primarily non-residential properties including vacant land, office buildings, retail properties, and strip malls/shopping centers of all sizes, national franchise operations, and automobile dealerships. For several years, John has specialized in the appraisal of Convenience Stores.

Patti Hoppe, our Office Manager, started with Vogels Buckman in 1995. She handles all of our bookkeeping and works closely with the appraisers in compiling their finished appraisal reports. Patti is proficient in Word and QuickBooks, and our Commercial Data Base is her responsibility, which she continuously updates on a daily basis.
