Over the years, we have evolved through various names including Washington Equipment, WECO, CES Material Handling, Abell-Howe, and now Crane Equipment & Service, Inc. Our dedicated staff of experienced Crane & Hoist Personnel will work carefully to ensure the right crane or hoist system is provided for your application.

We specialize in designing, building, and servicing all types of overhead cranes, including standard and custom crane types such as Structural beam cranes, Box-girder cranes, Patented track cranes, Abell-Howe Jib Cranes, and Gantry cranes. Our capabilities also extend to complete bridge & runway systems, including Top running free-standing runway kits and FREEDOM FRAME. In addition, we have a large inventory of repair parts and accessories for most cranes, including hoists, power bars, controls, and other electro-mechanical components.

Our services include OSHA mandated inspections, preventive maintenance programs, repairs, rebuilds, and upgrades. We also offer new installations, removal of old equipment, and entire crane and hoist management programs. Operator training is another key aspect of our services. With our In-House Engineering capabilities, we can provide a turnkey solution for adding a single or multiple crane systems to your facility.
