Our Team

Our team of professionals is led by Dr. James B. Platek and Dr. Chun-Yu Liu. Dr. Platek graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1978 and has been practicing for over 40 years. He has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. He also has a diploma in Orthodontics and is certified in Laser Surgery.

Dr. Liu attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, where he graduated in 2006 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree. He has received many honors and has been practicing for 13 years in the Toledo area. He regularly attends continuing education courses, keeping up with the latest dentistry offers. He is a member of the Toledo Dental Society, the Ohio Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Liu's personal philosophy for his practice is to provide comprehensive, gentle dental care at the highest level of quality and service. He lives with his wife Chia-Chi and their son in Toledo and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
