Under the leadership of Dr. Kristin Nelson, DDS, MDS, our practice delivers top-quality orthodontic care to the community of Fairfax, Virginia, helping people of all ages enjoy healthier smiles. Dr. Nelson brings an impressive academic and professional background to her work at Metropolitan Orthodontics. She earned her undergraduate degree in physiology and neurobiology at the University of Maryland (UMD) in College Park. She went on to complete her dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and further expanded her skills and knowledge with a Master of Science at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond.

Our Mission
