Meet Our Doctor

Dr. James Markenson was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and graduated from Marquette School of Dentistry in 1983. After completing a one-year general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI, Dr. Markenson has been in private practice since 1983. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and Greater Milwaukee Dental Association, and has served as a committee chairman involved with the health and wellbeing of general practitioners throughout the state.

Dr. Markenson is committed to giving back to the community, providing his services to Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and Donated Dental Services. He is an avid reader, loves to travel, hike, play guitar, and ride his motorcycle. He is the father of three daughters and is married to Nanci, who is also his office manager.
