History & Background

Vantage Architects Inc. began in 1989 as a regional office for a larger Wisconsin firm. In 2003, the company became incorporated as an employee-owned firm. The Owners/Partners are Registered Architects Jerrel Schomberg, AIA, and Brian Guthrie, CSI. They each have over 30 years of experience and have had the privilege of working on a broad range of building types including residential, educational, religious, municipal, and commercial facilities throughout Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. Vantage Architects has also partnered with established general contractors on many design-build projects.

We are proud members of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Construction Services Institute (CSI). Our team includes LEED Professional Accreditation and registrations in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.

Our current career opportunities include positions for Project Architects who are registered architects or will become licensed in the near future. We require a minimum of 5 years of working experience in the architectural field and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
