Samish Cabinetry was founded in 2017 as an extension of our parent company, CreCon General. Our team's experience spans decades across various construction sectors. Growing from our roots in powerboat and sailboat building, we possess an in-depth understanding of intricate woodworking techniques and a meticulous approach to craftsmanship. This foundation has been further fortified through years of experience in residential and commercial construction, including remodels, additions, custom homes, and log homes. We bring over 110 years of combined expertise to every project, ensuring that your cabinetry is built with the highest level of skill and precision.

At Samish Cabinetry, we believe that the quality of our materials directly reflects the quality of our final product. That's why we exclusively utilize 3/4-inch plywood for our standard cabinet boxes, rejecting particleboard for a more durable and robust construction. Our doors and drawer fronts are crafted from solid wood panels or plywood panels with solid wood stiles and rails, adding an element of elegance and timelessness to each piece.

We understand the importance of flawless performance, so we equip all our cabinets with Blum undermount, full-extension, soft-close drawer slides and Blum soft-close hinges. Blum is a leader in innovative hardware, offering a wide range of options to suit your specific needs and preferences. For specialized inserts and unique functionalities, we readily embrace custom design and fabrication. Our team collaborates closely with clients to explore innovative solutions and integrate features that truly meet their individual requirements.

Paul brings over 25 years of experience as a general contractor, specializing in remodels and additions. His background in powerboat and sailboat building instilled a deep appreciation for precision and detail that translates seamlessly into our cabinetry work. Mark, our shop lead, is a master carpenter with an impressive resume that includes extensive boatbuilding experience, particularly in the challenging realm of log home construction. His problem-solving skills and keen eye for detail are invaluable assets to our team. James, our CNC programmer/operator, possesses a unique blend of technical proficiency and a creative spirit. He excels at bringing our designs to life with his expertise in operating our state-of-the-art Shopsabre 510 Pro CNC machine. Ron, a skilled carpenter with a background in custom upholstery, brings meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence to every project. Liz, our dedicated administrator, ensures that our operations run smoothly, keeping everything organized and on track.
