Our story began in Texas, where our founder, Sunshine Winters, was born and raised. Her passion for visual art led her to study photography at the Art Institute of Houston, where she graduated in 1998. Her journey continued in New York, where she pursued her dreams and worked in the photo industry. Through her experiences in photo labs, studio management, and freelance photo assistance, she gained invaluable knowledge and skills that shaped her into the photographer she is today.

After witnessing 9/11, Sunshine decided to return to her roots in Houston, where she began her career as a wedding photographer. This experience allowed her to explore various styles of photography, including portraits, fashion, documentary, and product shots. She also had the opportunity to learn about different cultures and traditions, which further enriched her understanding of the world and its diverse beauty.

In 2011, Sunshine married her husband, and in 2014, they welcomed their son into the world. This new chapter in her life brought her even closer to her passion for capturing life's precious moments. She now reserves her weekends for family time and is available for portrait sessions and corporate events from Monday to Friday.
