History of Cobble Rock & Stone
Cobble Rock & Stone is a family owned business that was founded by Ron Rogers in 1962. Ron is no longer involved in the day to day operations but his knowledge, craftsmanship and work ethics is still being used daily by his son Jay. At the age of 9, Jay began helping his dad manufacture and install stone during the summers. Jay use to get a kick out of finding a like colored natural stone around the job site and placing it up on the wall in the midst of the manufactured stones (without his father knowing) and then days later, he would ask his dad to find the natural stone, if he could.
As Jay grew older and gained more experience in the manufacturing and installation business, it became clear to him that there had to be a more efficient way of producing and installing the stone. He became and still remains very passionate about designing products that are not only beautiful to look at, but also easy for the average "Do It Yourselfer" to install. Jay has a passion for stone and loves talking "rock". Designing products, making molds, over seeing aspects of production, quality control, helping a customer with a special design, talking to a satisfied customer. Jay loves it all. It's his passion to make certain that Cobble Rock has the best product and the most satisfied customer, which is why many of the most sought after Architects, General Contractors, and Masons specify Cobble Rock and Stone products on their projects.
