Our History

Pilot Air was born in the year 2000, founded by Kevin Midkiff, a veteran of over 40 years in the HVAC industry. Kevin's expertise extends beyond practical experience, as he is also a renowned trainer for Wrightsoft, one of the most widely used platforms for load calculation and duct design in the HVAC field. He has imparted his knowledge to numerous HVAC contractors in North Carolina and authored seven comprehensive training manuals. Over the years, Kevin has meticulously nurtured the foundational principles that gave birth to Pilot Air, resulting in the company's growth into two strategically located branches - one in Pilot Mountain and the other in King - serving the Forsyth, Guilford, Surry, and Stokes county areas, alongside portions of Virginia.
