Our funeral homes are located at 269 Frederick Street in Hanover, PA, and 66 East Hanover Street in Bonneauville, PA. We are proud to offer an "On-Site" Crematory at our Hanover location, ensuring that your loved one never leaves our care.

Our business has a rich history that spans over 91 years. Wayne V. Kenworthy began his work in the funeral business in the 1960s. He and his wife, Margaret M. (Sterner) Kenworthy, purchased the Bucher Funeral Home in Hanover, Pennsylvania, in 1965, which was originally established in 1933. The lovely Victorian era home and business, circa 1897, was the ideal location to establish the W.V. Kenworthy Funeral Home. The Kenworthy Family has been providing excellence in the funeral service in the Hanover area ever since.

In 1992, Wayne and Margaret's youngest son, Eric V. Kenworthy, joined the firm as a licensed funeral director and oversaw the expansion of the business as the family opened a second location in Bonneauville (near Gettysburg), Pennsylvania. In 1996, Eric and his wife, Katie M. (Clarke) Kenworthy purchased the family business, continuing the family-owned tradition at Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. Today, Eric & Katie, Wayne, and the Staff of the Kenworthy Funeral Home, Inc. take pride in promoting warm, personal, and professionally run facilities serving area families - Because our family cares about your family.
