The Association of Chief Operating Engineers (ACOE) is dedicated to maintaining an organization of chief engineers and industrial equivalents who share a special interest in plant engineering practices. Our objectives include improving service to members, their employers, the engineering profession, and the community through activities such as education, information exchange, plant tours, and service on governmental licensing boards and industrial code boards. We strive to enhance the prestige and professional status of stationary engineers and serve as a voice for the engineering community.

Our SEAS School scholarships fund qualifying engineers' education, utilizing the BOMI International Curriculum for professional development.
