WIP Fitness is a fitness studio dedicated to helping individuals of all fitness levels reach their goals. Our mantra, "We are all a Work In Progress-Come as you are, leave a little stronger, " reflects our belief that everyone can benefit from regular exercise and self-improvement. We offer a variety of classes and programs designed to challenge and motivate our members in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Our Workouts

Each WIP workout is thoughtfully programmed to provide a balanced and effective exercise experience. Our classes are 50 minutes long and are suitable for all fitness levels. We offer a range of classes, including strength training, cardio, high-intensity interval training (HIIT), yoga, and more. Our experienced and certified coaches lead each class, providing modifications and variations as needed to ensure that everyone can participate safely and effectively.

Our Team

Our team of coaches and instructors are dedicated to helping our members achieve their fitness goals. They bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each class, and are passionate about sharing their love of fitness with others.

*Paul Ducey, Owner & Head Coach*

Paul was born and raised in West Hartford and has spent over 5 years working in the fitness industry. He is an ISSA certified fitness coach and has been coaching at WIP for over 5 years. Paul is known for his high-energy workouts and dedication to helping his clients reach their fitness goals.

*Julia Ducey, Owner & Coach*

Julia's love for fitness began with soccer, and she has been involved in the fitness industry for many years. She is a Physical Education & Health teacher and has been coaching at WIP for several years. Julia is known for her supportive and inclusive coaching style and her commitment to helping her clients feel strong and confident.

*Jerome Cunningham, Coach*

Jerome is a former NFL player and has a passion for fitness. He is committed to helping his clients achieve their fitness goals and is known for his high-energy and challenging workouts.

*Kerrie Andrews, Coach*

Kerrie has been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years and has a specialty in group fitness. She is known for her positive and encouraging attitude and her ability to create a fun and energizing workout experience.

*Amy Ogle, Yoga Instructor*

Amy is a graduate of West Hartford Yoga's WHY Power Yoga Teacher Training Program and has been practicing and studying yoga for over 15 years. She is known for her calming and grounding presence and her ability to create a supportive and inclusive yoga practice.

Our Location

We are located at 485 New Park Avenue, West Hartford, CT, in the rear of the building. We can be accessed from Jefferson Avenue, where you can take a right into our parking lot 50 ft down. We are proud to be a part of the local business community and are committed to supporting and engaging with our neighbors.

FAQs

Do you offer a trial membership?

Yes, we offer a 3 week unlimited trial membership for new clients. This is a great way to try out our classes and see if WIP Fitness is the right fit for you.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

We provide all the equipment you need for our classes, including weights, mats, and resistance bands. However, you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Do you have showers and locker rooms?

Yes, we have showers and locker rooms available for our members to use.
