For over 10 years, the Center for Positive Change has been dedicated to empowering individuals, families, and communities to create a brighter tomorrow. Our non-profit organization is committed to promoting non-violence and positive change through a variety of services and programs.

Our Story

Founded in 2012, the Center for Positive Change was established with a clear mission: to create an opportunity for individuals, families, and communities to make positive changes. Inspired by the non-violence of icons like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi, we strive to provide best practice services at an affordable cost.

Our Services

At the Center for Positive Change, we offer a range of services designed to support individuals and families in overcoming life's challenges. Our services include:

  • Individual Counseling: Our licensed therapists provide individual counseling for adults, children, and families coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues.
  • Couples/Marriage Counseling: We offer couples and marriage counseling to help individuals build stronger, more fulfilling relationships.
  • Family Counseling: Our family counselors work with families to address conflicts, improve communication, and strengthen relationships.
  • High Conflict Resolution: We provide mediation and conflict resolution services to help families, couples, and individuals resolve disputes and improve communication.
  • Parenting Education: Our parenting classes and support groups offer guidance and support to parents, helping them develop effective parenting skills and strategies.
  • Child Therapy: Our licensed therapists work with children to address emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges.
  • Mental Health Services: We offer a range of mental health services, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and moral reconation therapy (MRT).
  • Batterer's Intervention Program: Our program is certified by the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) and meets the requirements for court-mandated participants.
  • Anger Management: We offer individual anger management classes, accepted by insurance companies.
  • Substance Abuse Treatment: Our program provides education, modified and intensive outpatient programming, moral reconation therapy, and aftercare.
  • Intensive Outpatient Program: This comprehensive program offers a higher level of support and therapy for individuals struggling with addiction.
  • Trauma Services: We offer a range of trauma-informed services, including EMDR, CBT, and DBT.
