He then pursued his Associates Degree from North Lake College in 1985 and later earned his BA in Political Science, Pre-Law from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989. His Juris Doctorate was obtained from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1992. He was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in 1993 and admitted to the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas in 1995.
