At Cheerful Cherubs Childcare, we understand the importance of promoting creativity, decision-making, and social skills in developing self-esteem and relationships. We encourage creativity and self-expression, and we strive to provide opportunities for children to make decisions and develop their social skills. We also believe in promoting good health through a balanced approach that includes nutrition, exercise, and respect for oneself and others.

Our goal is to provide peace of mind to parents and guardians in need of childcare, knowing that their children are being lovingly cared for in a safe and fun environment. We want to build strong relationships with families and the community, and we aim to do so through group activities, parent's nights out, and charity donations.

About Me

Hi, I'm Racheal Vencill, the owner of Cheerful Cherubs Childcare. I am a wife and mother of two beautiful children, a 2 1/2 year old girl and a handsome boy turning 1 year old this month. My family is my everything, and I love them very much.

My interest in childcare started at a very early age. From playing school as a child to babysitting my nieces as a teenager, I knew that caring for and teaching children was my passion. I have taken childhood development courses in high school and have worked in various childcare settings, including as a student teacher, an intern, and a senior staff member at a private school. I have also managed a Curves for Women, where I learned the importance of good health, nutrition, and fitness, which I incorporate into my childcare program.

Certifications & Coursework

At Cheerful Cherubs Childcare, we take the safety and well-being of children seriously. Our team is fully certified in CPR, First Aid, and SIDS, and we have completed courses in Emergency Preparedness, Changing Behavior/Positive Communication, Child Care, Child Growth Development, Early Childhood Fieldwork/Classroom Foundations of Education, Developmental Psychology, Foundations of Reading and Language Arts, Educational Psychology, Early Childhood Methods and Materials, and Intro to Special Ed.
