Mission

Since 1973, the Mary Mahoney Memorial Health Center has been a cornerstone of primary healthcare in Northeastern Oklahoma County. Guided by the belief that healthcare should be accessible and affordable for everyone, we offer comprehensive services that meet the diverse needs of our community.

Our History

The Mary Mahoney Memorial Health Center was born from the vision of five dedicated women from the Parker's Heights community who saw a need for accessible healthcare in their neighborhood. They established the center in the old Dunjee High School building, a testament to their commitment to building a healthier future for their community.

The center was named in honor of Mary Eliza Mahoney, a pioneering figure in nursing who became the first black professional nurse in the United States. Her legacy inspires us to break down barriers and ensure that quality healthcare is available to all, regardless of background or circumstance.
