Childhood Learning Academy

Childhood Learning Academy is a Christian-based childcare center that has been serving the community for over 40 years. We are proud to have been voted Yukon's Best Child Care Center for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2024. We strive to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children from 18 months to 12 years old.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs and abilities of our students. Our programs are built around a Christian worldview and are designed to promote academic and social development.

Toddler Care

Our Toddler Care program is designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years old. This program focuses on socialization, emotional development, and basic academic skills. Our experienced teachers provide a supportive and stimulating environment that encourages learning and exploration.

Private Pre-K

Our Private Pre-K program is designed for children aged 3 to 4 years old. This program prepares students for kindergarten and beyond, focusing on academic skills, social skills, and emotional intelligence. Our teachers use the Scholastic Big Day Pre-K curriculum to ensure a well-rounded education.

Preschool

Our Preschool program is designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old. This program focuses on promoting creativity, independence, and problem-solving skills. Our experienced teachers provide a supportive and engaging environment that encourages learning and exploration.

After School Program

Our After School program is designed for children aged 5 to 12 years old. This program provides a safe and stimulating environment for students to complete their homework, participate in recreational activities, and engage in educational activities.

Curriculum

Our curriculum is designed to promote academic and social development in a Christian context. We focus on core subjects such as Math, Science, and Reading, as well as other essential subjects like Music, Art, and Physical Education. Our curriculum is designed to prepare students for kindergarten and beyond, providing a strong foundation for future success.

Tuition

Tuition for Childhood Learning Academy is due on Monday of every week. Payments must be made in advance on a weekly basis by Tuesday of the current week. We also offer vacation weeks for continuing students, providing flexibility and convenience for families.

Holidays

Childhood Learning Academy observes the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
