Our Property's History and Renovation

Our property has been serving the Fish Creek community for over 80 years. Formerly recognized as the 'By the Bay Motel, ' we are proud to be a part of Fish Creek's charm since the 1940s. The property consists of two buildings with a total of 15 motel rooms. The front building, built in the 1940s, offers six king-bedrooms and a queen-bedroom, five of which provide stunning views of Fish Creek Harbor and Peninsula State Park. The two-story back building, added in the 1980s, features eight rooms, each furnished with two queen-sized beds. Six of these rooms boast captivating water views of Fish Creek Harbor and Peninsula State Park.

In September 2023, the property was brought under new ownership, leading to an extensive renovation that includes new flooring, decor, and furnishings. We've also added new guest amenities, such as a new fire pit on the front patio, to enhance our guests' experience.

The Deckhouse Experience

Indulge in the luxury of The Deckhouse, our short-term vacation rental with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and accommodations for ten guests. The Deckhouse is the epitome of luxury, boasting an in-house sauna and private decks that offer breathtaking views of Fish Creek Harbor and Peninsula State Park. The recent overhaul during Fall and Winter 2023 ensures a premium stay with upgraded amenities and upscale interiors.
