Who We Are

At Balanced Business, we are a boutique accounting firm located in beautiful San Diego, California. Our team is dedicated to providing outsourced accounting and advisory services to small businesses, entrepreneurs, and independent professionals. We understand the importance of having a well-managed financial backbone, allowing our clients to focus on their core business and vision.

Our Team

Our team is led by our founder and CEO, Breanne Mode, who has over 13 years of experience in the accounting industry. With a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the University of Denver, Breanne has a unique ability to understand the needs of her clients. Our senior accountant, Jennifer Escudero, has over 15 years of experience in the commercial and residential property industry, and our digital media manager, Beth Davidson, has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of marketing.

What We Offer

At Balanced Business, we understand that not every business can afford a full-time accountant, but still needs access to expertise at times. We offer a full range of services and specializations that can be customized for individuals, executives, and independent professionals. Our services include:

• Accounting Services: We can manage your day-to-day accounting needs, spending as little as 5 hours per week.
• Tax Services: Although we don't offer tax services, we work in partnership with a local tax accounting firm in San Diego to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
• Advisory & Consulting Services: We work with management to evaluate current procedures and systems, providing recommendations for potential improvement areas.
• Systems Related Services: We assist with system implementations, clean-ups, and restructuring to ensure your accounting systems are running efficiently.
