Lasting Impressions Photography is a full-service, home photography studio founded in 2002 by certified professional photographer, Misty Bindl. With over two decades of experience in the industry, Misty has honed her skills to capture fleeting moments that turn into cherished works of art for newborns, children, families, and high school seniors. Misty's approach to photography is relaxed and natural, allowing her clients to express themselves comfortably and genuinely.

In addition to personal photography sessions, Lasting Impressions Photography provides freelance work for businesses and organizations. From headshots to board photographs, conference photographs, and images for publications, Misty's expertise extends beyond personal photography. Her commitment to quality and attention to detail ensure that every client receives images that exceed their expectations.

About the Photographer

Misty Bindl's passion for photography began in high school, where she worked for a local photographer. She further pursued her love for photography by majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Photography at UW-La Crosse. After college, Misty started her photography business, and in 2018, she earned her certification as a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Misty's commitment to learning and growing in her craft is evident in her dedication to professional organizations such as PhotoMidwest and PPA. Her community involvement includes volunteering as a photography project leader for the Sun Prairie Happy Hikers 4-H Club, donating to local charity fundraisers, and coaching high school track at Edgewood High School. Misty's family includes two active teens and a spunky toddler, and she enjoys hiking, yoga, golfing, sewing, and volunteering in her free time.

Studio Location and Availability

Lasting Impressions Photography is located at 5821 Fox Tail Road in Marshall, WI, between Sun Prairie and Marshall, just a couple of miles off I-94. Appointments are available by appointment only on Mondays-Fridays from 9 am-1 pm and occasional Sundays.

Illness Policies

To ensure the safety and health of all clients, Lasting Impressions Photography has implemented new illness policies due to COVID-19. The photographer, Misty, will monitor for any illness symptoms and wear a face mask during studio sessions if requested by the client. Hand sanitizer will be readily accessible for everyone's use in the studio, changing room, and office. The studio, changing room, office, and props will be sanitized before every session. If a client or anyone in their family is experiencing any illness symptoms or is not feeling well, they are asked to kindly reschedule their appointment.
