Our Story

Rodney Hurt Insurance Services has been a staple in the West Texas community for over 40 years. Our founder, Rodney Hurt, was raised in Midland and Odessa and is a proud graduate of Odessa Permian, Odessa College, and Texas Tech University. After a brief stint as a teacher and coach in Brownfield, Rodney returned to Odessa and entered the insurance business 41 years ago. Today, Rodney and his wife Deby are the owners of Hurt Insurance Services, and their son Tony works part-time in the business.
