Mark A. Stefanelli, R.A., is the founder of MAS Architect, with a passion for serving his community. Born and raised in Lyndhurst, NJ, Mark graduated from Lyndhurst High School in 1982 and was a member of the National Honor Society. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 1988. After gaining valuable experience at top architectural firms in New Jersey from 1988 to 2005, Mark obtained his NJ Architectural License in 1995 and established MAS Architect in 2005. Today, the firm is located at 375 Murray Hill Parkway, East Rutherford, Floor One. With over 30 years of architectural experience and more than 300 completed projects, MAS Architect has built a reputation for excellence in the building and remodeling industry.

Our services focus on client satisfaction, specializing in residential renovation and remodels, room additions, outdoor kitchens and decks, as well as kitchen and bath remodels. We can also build custom homes tailored to your specifications. We work closely with you through every step of the planning process, from simple and charming to large and luxurious, turning your custom home concepts into reality.

MAS Architect's process begins with a site analysis, including a survey to identify areas conducive for construction and any existing buildings for non-conforming conditions. This is followed by design meetings to create a design that best meets your needs. If necessary, we navigate the variance phase and guide you through the town's site limitations. Once the design is agreed upon and meets the town requirements, we compile a complete set of documents for your town permits and for your builder to build the project. We also assist in the bidding process and provide construction administration to ensure your project is built according to the final design.

In addition, we offer modular building services through our partnership with Modular Building Systems L.L.C. This allows us to design, develop, and illustrate custom buildings that meet your specific needs and work within the site's physical and zoning limitations. This streamlined process saves substantial costs and time delays compared to traditional architectural firms.
