Bill Keffer's Philosophy

Our founder, Bill Keffer, believes in the importance of thorough financial planning and the value of the hourly, as-needed fee-only approach. He believes that everyone deserves access to clear financial direction and motivation, and should be able to access and pay for that advice when needed.

Education and Qualifications

Bill Keffer holds several prestigious certifications, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Enrolled Agent, BA in English from Dickinson College, MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University, and a Master of Science in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. He also holds Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations.

Professional Affiliations

Keffer Financial Planning is affiliated with the Garrett Planning Network and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), and Bill is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois.

Personal Values and Community Involvement

We value community involvement and are active in local organizations such as the Rotary of Central DuPage and the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce. Bill is a past president of the Rotary and has served on the boards of these organizations.
