1. Comprehensive Eye Exams

A thorough eye exam at MLP Optometry consists of two key components: a health evaluation and a refraction. During the health evaluation, our experienced optometrists will meticulously examine your eyes for any signs of disease, such as cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, or retinal disease. We utilize both traditional dilation techniques and the advanced Optomap technology, offering you a choice in how we gather detailed images of the back of your eye. The Optomap takes a comprehensive photograph of the retina and the back of the eye, eliminating the need for pupil dilation in many cases. This quick and efficient method provides a permanent digital image that we review with you, enabling early detection and management of eye diseases like diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and even cancer. The refraction portion of the exam determines your eyeglass prescription. Once your exam is complete, we will provide you with your prescription, allowing you to immediately pursue your desired eyewear solution.

2. Pediatric Eye Evaluations
