At Towanda Creek Animal Hospital, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients. Founded in 1991 by Dr. Joan Hudyncia, our hospital has built a reputation for being a place where pets are treated like family. Our commitment to excellence in veterinary care has led to our accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) in 2006, making us one of only 15% of veterinary hospitals in the nation to receive this distinction.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services including Canine and Feline care, Surgery, Dental Care, Laser Therapy, Diagnostic Services, Behavior & Training, and Microchipping. Our state-of-the-art machinery enables us to perform diagnostic tests quickly and effectively. We also have an on-site pharmacy that carries both prescription and non-prescription veterinary medications, and we offer a full range of Hill's Science Diet and Prescription Diet brand dog and cat foods.

Our Veterinarians

Our team includes two veterinarians, Dr. Lori Smith and others, who are dedicated to providing low-stress handling techniques for our patients and are trained to be aware of both physical and emotional needs. Dr. Lori Smith graduated from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has been with us since 2003. She strives to lead our hospital with the same exceptional client and patient care we have been known for for 30 years.
