Our History

Founded in 2010 by Eric Lahita PE, Lahita Engineering has come a long way since its inception. Eric was licensed by the State of New York in 2006 and began working for several large heavy civil contractors on deep foundation projects in the tri-state area. He also started working with Hoboken and Jersey City residential developers, as well as subcontracting for architectural firms to create structural sets of drawings. Today, Lahita Engineering employs 4 full-time Junior Engineers (EIT's) and is steadily growing to keep up with the Tri-State Area's bustling economy.

Our team also includes Ehsan Hekmat PE and Edwin Puma PE, who are all dedicated to providing the best possible results for our partners.
