Our Team

Our team is led by Hugo Torres, President and Florida State Certified General Contractor, and Maritza Alegria, Vice President and licensed Interior Designer. With a combined experience of over 40 years in the construction industry, they have completed a vast array of projects in Colombia and the United States. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence in every project we undertake.

Our History

MULTIWORKS Design & Construction, Inc. was first established in 1983 in Bogota, Colombia, by Hugo Torres and Maritza Alegria. The company, formerly known as Torres & Associates, began with design-build projects for both residential and commercial customers. In 1988, the company moved to the United States and was re-established in the State of New York. In January of 1997, the company was relocated to Coral Springs, Florida, where it is currently based.
