Gray and Gray Architects is a design-oriented architectural firm dedicated to producing exceptional architectural solutions for our clients. Based in Montecito, California, we work locally in Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, and Carpinteria areas, as well as nationally with projects in Nevada and on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. Our team, led by William Gray, A.I.A., and Martha A. Gray, A.I.A., brings over 20 years of architectural experience to each project.

William Gray, a graduate of The Thacher School and the University of Southern California Architectural School, has developed a wide range of projects in Montecito, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Ojai Valley, Santa Ynez Valley, and Monterey County. He began his career with Warner and Gray on various projects and later worked with Eric Miller Architects in Monterey. After returning to Montecito, he joined forces with his father, Paul Gray, and sister, Martha Gray, to establish Gray and Gray Architects. Following Paul's passing, Will reestablished the firm as a managing partner with Martha in 2016.

Martha Gray, a graduate of Smith College and UCLA, has also worked on numerous custom residential projects in Montecito, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, Malibu, and Incline Village, Nevada. She has been a longtime member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Martha has also served on various boards and committees, including the Santa Barbara South County Board of Architectural Review and the Visual Arts in Public Places subcommittee of City Arts Advisory Board.
