DTN Engineering & Consulting was founded by David Nicoletti, a civil engineer with over 36 years of experience spanning various sectors and environments. David's journey began at the City of Tucson Water Department, where he honed his expertise in water management and infrastructure. He then transitioned into the private sector, working for prominent civil engineering firms, specializing in private land development projects, including large-scale commercial developments such as box stores.

David's diverse experience continued to broaden with his involvement in flood control projects, both at the city and regional levels. He played a critical role in the Natomas Levee Improvement Program and the City of St. Helena Flood Control Project, demonstrating his commitment to public safety and sustainable infrastructure solutions. His passion for engineering took him to the demanding landscape of the Bakken oil fields in North Dakota, where he served as Senior Civil & Construction Engineer, overseeing the engineering, design, and construction management of state and county highways.

In 2014, David brought his extensive knowledge to Humboldt County, serving as Director of Civil Engineering & President/CEO of LACO Associates. Now, with DTN Engineering & Consulting, he is dedicated to providing expert civil engineering and consulting services to the local community.
