Stephen H. Ring has been active in state and local bar associations throughout his career. He has served on the Board of Governors for the Maryland State Bar Association and has held various committee positions, including chair. He has also been involved with the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland, serving on the Executive Committee, Judicial Selections Committee, and Nominations and Elections committee.

In addition to his experience in private practice, Mr. Ring has worked as a trial attorney for a law firm in Rockville, Maryland, where he focused on insurance litigation. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard B. Latham in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, MD.

Education and Continuing Legal Education

Mr. Ring received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Boston University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Dartmouth College. He has participated in continuing legal education on a regular basis, mainly in the areas of wills, estates and trusts, and civil litigation, including commercial litigation and class actions.
