The Kentucky Primary Care Association (KPCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting access to comprehensive, community-oriented primary health care services for the underserved populations in Kentucky. Established in 1976, KPCA brings together community health centers, rural health clinics, primary care centers, and other organizations and individuals concerned about access to healthcare services for the state's rural and urban populations.
As a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, KPCA's mission is to promote the mutual interests of its members, who are providers of primary care services, including broadly trained physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, behavioral health providers, dental providers, and pharmacists. Our members deliver whole-person health care, providing a range of services to underserved populations.
Our organization's primary goals are to develop a unified coalition of primary care providers, stimulate and support the development of primary health care services, and serve the needs of our members. We work with federal, state, and local legislators, regulatory agencies, health policy organizations, foundations, and payers to build a stronger primary care system in Kentucky.
