Our company was founded by Bruce Schuler, who started Schuler Engineering Corporation in 1979. Schuler Engineering became a respected contractor for major water and sewer agencies, and the principles that guided Bruce Schuler's work continue to shape our approach today.

Completed Projects

Over the years, Schuler Constructors has completed numerous projects throughout Southern California. These projects have included the construction of new water treatment facilities, upgrades to existing wastewater treatment plants, and the installation of new piping and valve systems. Some of our recent projects include:

• City of Newport Beach - Big Canyon Reservoir: The work consisted of new piping and valve upgrades to enhance the city's disinfection system at their Big Canyon Reservoir.
• City of Pomona - Design & Construct AEP-3: A Design-Build Project for the City of Pomona designed to remove perchlorate from well water and increase production of potable water.
• Eastern Municipal Water District - Perris Valley: The work consisted of the construction of a fuel cell generation system including two 300-kW fuel cell power plants; two hot water heat recovery units; one anaerobic digester gas treatment skid; one dual fuel boiler system including equipment pad; two canopies; three digester gas boosters; three hot water recirculation pumps.
• Santa Margarita Water District: In October 2009, a cold spell and strong winds cooled the warmer, more highly oxygenated water on the surface of the Upper Oso Reservoir in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA. The cooled water sunk to the bottom, bringing less-oxygenated water to the top.
