Our History

South Gateway Student Apartments has a rich history dating back to 1989, when the Mammoth Lakes Foundation was established by Dave McCoy, the founder of Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, and his friends. The foundation aimed to bring higher education and the arts to the Eastern Sierra region. Our student apartments are a testament to the foundation's vision, providing high-quality housing to students attending Cerro Coso Community College.

Amenities and Services

We offer a range of amenities and services designed to enhance the college experience. Our fully furnished apartments come with utilities, cable, and WiFi/High-Speed Internet included. Our residents can enjoy a range of recreational facilities, including a community room with a fireplace, gym, outdoor courtyard with grills, and amazing mountain views. We also provide a short-term lease option, making it easy for students to commit to a semester or academic year. Other amenities include a pool table, ping pong, shuffleboard, jumbo flat screen TV, outdoor bocce ball, and 24-hour availability.
