We recognize that everyone has different issues, and we take the time to get to understand your specific situation and tailor our services to fit your needs. Our commitment is that you will never be a priority to us. We know our strengths and are dedicated to delivering on those strengths every day.

What We Do

At Hedlund Tax, we focus solely on individuals and small businesses. We do not waste our time on anything else because it's not in your best interest. Our consulting practice is built on current year taxes, retirement planning, and wealth-transfer. We offer tax and accounting planning and strategies to ensure that your liability is right, your cash flow is maximized, and you are on track to meet your financial goals. Whether you are starting a new business or need assistance with entity selection, taxes, or financial advisors, we are here to help you navigate the complexities of starting and running your business.

Compliance

Our philosophy of tax return compliance is that it should not be the biggest part of our relationship. Instead, it should summarize what we already know. We can prepare your current year Individual Income Tax Return (Form 1040) or any of your business returns, including Partnerships (Form 1065), C Corporation (Form 1120), S Corporation (Form 1120S), trust return (Form 1041), Gift Tax Return (Form 709), and Foundation return (Form 990-PF), as well as Estate Tax Return (Form 706) if needed.

Meet Jason Hedlund

Meet Jason Hedlund, the founder and owner of Hedlund Tax. Jason has had a successful career at a large public accounting firm, where he worked with closely held businesses and their owners. He then moved on to lead the tax practice at a small, local firm before deciding to start his own practice. With over 20 years of experience, Jason has learned the importance of maintaining a smile on his face while producing the highest quality product. He holds a law degree, an MBA, and a LL.M in tax. When not doing tax, he enjoys camping, playing golf, and painting.
