The UCSS Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Uganda Counseling and Support Services (UCSS) is a public charity organization dedicated to improving the quality of life and spreading God's love to people in communities in Uganda. Our mission is to comprehensively address the needs of the communities we serve and equip them for holistic transformation and sustainable development. We believe that providing social services, counseling, and spiritual development can significantly enhance the quality of life of individuals and communities.

Our vision is to see transformed communities in Uganda that can sustain themselves and positively impact their nation. We are committed to providing high-quality services that meet the unique needs of each community we serve. Our core values include compassion, integrity, excellence, and stewardship. These values guide all our actions and decisions and help us maintain our focus on our mission and vision.

Health and Medical Care Services

At UCSS, we recognize that access to quality healthcare is a critical component of community development. We offer a range of health and medical care services to the communities we serve, including medical staff sponsorship, fresh drinking water, and mental health counseling services. Our medical staff sponsorship program enables us to hire and retain qualified medical personnel to provide essential healthcare services to the communities. We also construct and maintain water wells to provide clean drinking water and improve the health and hygiene of the communities. Our mental health counseling services help individuals and families deal with various psychological issues, including trauma, depression, and anxiety.

Education and Economic Development

Education and economic development are key drivers of sustainable community development. At UCSS, we offer educational scholarships and sponsorships to children from disadvantaged backgrounds to enable them to access quality education. We also provide vocational training and entrepreneurship skills to empower individuals and communities to create sustainable livelihoods. Our education and economic development programs aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower communities to become self-reliant.

Ministry and Evangelism

As a faith-based organization, we are committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and impacting the communities we serve for eternity. Our ministry and evangelism programs aim to reach out to individuals and communities with the message of hope and salvation. We conduct church services, crusades, and outreach programs to share the love of Christ with the people of Uganda. Through these programs, we have seen many individuals come to faith in Christ and communities transformed.

Sponsorships

Our sponsorship programs provide an opportunity for individuals and organizations to support the work of UCSS and make a tangible difference in the lives of the communities we serve. Through our sponsorship programs, you can support the education of a child, provide medical care to a needy individual, sponsor a water well, or support our medical staff. Our sponsorship programs aim to create lasting relationships between our sponsors and the communities we serve, enabling us to achieve our mission and vision together.

There are various ways to get involved in the work of UCSS and make a difference in the lives of the communities we serve. You can join our monthly giving community, the UCSS Lifers, and commit to giving regularly. You can also donate your birthday and ask your friends and family to support UCSS instead of giving you gifts. You can also subscribe to our student sponsorship program and be the hero in the life of a child in need.
