Our Story
The San Francisco School is an independent, coeducational day school for Preschool through Eighth Grade, committed to providing a vibrant learning community that fosters strong academics, conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and creativity. Founded in 1966 as a Preschool, SFS has grown to include 280 students and about 70 staff members. Our school is committed to ethnic and cultural diversity, with 64% students of color and an inclusive ethos.
