Our Story

While working for a small, private firm in the early to mid 1980s, Louis Scatigna, CFP and Martin Saltzman were becoming increasingly frustrated with the fact that the firm seemed to be more concerned about its own bottom line than it was about the welfare of its clients. The two friends wanted to change that. They wanted to be different, and that is what made them decide to set out on their own. In 1987, they established AFM Investments with the goal of providing personalized financial services to their clients.
