Our Story

Marcello Engineering Group was founded in 2008 to meet the growing demand for structural engineering in Southern New Jersey. Over the years, our client base has expanded to include insurance companies, financial institutions, and local municipalities. This growth is a testament to our commitment to delivering exceptional service and our dedication to building lasting relationships with our clients.

Our team is led by Matthew Marcello, PE, CME, who has over two decades of experience in engineering, inspection, and construction management. Matthew has worked on numerous projects in the commercial, healthcare, education, and residential sectors. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California and is certified as a NJ Certified Municipal Engineer and NJ Special Inspector.

We have experience with a wide range of structural elements, including footings and foundations, retaining walls, steel bar joists, pre-fabricated steel trusses, pre-fabricated wood trusses, heavy timber framing, heavy timber trusses, glue-laminated and engineered wood post-tension elements.
