Our goal is to create healthy relationships between the natural environment and the built environment through environmentally responsive design.

We prioritize sustainability in our projects by orienting buildings to take advantage of natural flows of sun, wind, and water, reducing or eliminating dependence on mechanical heating and cooling systems and daytime lighting. We also use locally available, indigenous, natural, and recycled materials to minimize waste and promote sustainability. Our approach involves close collaboration with clients to define project goals and budgets, as well as discuss aesthetic and spiritual hopes for the project.

We welcome unique and creative input from our clients and are open to new ideas, different methods, and unusual materials. Our design process involves a positive approach that seeks to create healthy, comfortable buildings that are in harmony with the environment and ourselves. Design Services

Our design services range from residential to non-residential projects, including homes, studios, and public buildings. We offer a variety of services such as site-specific designs, passive solar orientation, and the incorporation of alternative materials and systems. Our designs focus on maximizing energy efficiency while creating unique and elegant structures.

Design / Build Services

On a limited basis, we also offer a Design/Build option to our clients. This involves overseeing the complete construction process as a licensed General Contractor, providing the Owner with the unique situation of having the Architect on site every day. This approach eliminates the need for an outside General Contractor and ensures that the original architectural design and owner intent are not misinterpreted.
