New North End Youth Center

At the Sara Holbrook Community Center, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow, learn, and explore new possibilities in a safe and supportive environment. Since 1937, we have been committed to educating children, supporting families, and instilling hope in our community. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, our mission is to create enriching life experiences for young people, enabling them to safely learn, grow, and explore new possibilities.

Our Programs

We offer a wide range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of children and families in our community. Our Elementary Program provides after-school care, school vacation camps, and summer break camps for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Our Middle School & Teen Programs offer quality programs that foster positive relationships, leadership opportunities, and a safe space for middle school youth to explore new and familiar passions. Our Youth Adventure Program gives pre-teens and teens the opportunity to participate in adventures and experiences throughout Vermont and surrounding areas. We also offer SHCC Summer Camps, which include Elementary Summer Camp, Youth Adventure Program, and English Enrichment Program. Additionally, our Food & Essentials Pantry is open and available for families and individuals in need of food and essentials.

Our Impact

At the Sara Holbrook Community Center, we are committed to making a positive impact in our community. We serve over 1,300 individuals each year, including immigrant and refugee populations. Our programs are designed to help children and families overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, nutritious food, and a safe and supportive environment. Through our programs and services, we strive to create a brighter future for our community.
