Alternate Solutions Care Giver Specialist

At Alternate Solutions Caregiver Specialist, our mission is to provide individualized services allowing each client to age in place. We are an in-home, non-medical care giving service that offers a wide range of services including personal care, light housework, meal preparation, shopping, doctor's appointments, medication reminders, companionship, pet care, and family respite. We understand the importance of providing high-quality care and support to our clients, which is why we are licensed, insured, and bonded. Our care givers are certified, have fingerprint clearance cards, are drug tested, have valid CPR cards, food handler cards, are TB tested annually, and undergo ongoing training to ensure they are equipped to handle various situations.

Our Services

We have been providing in-home, non-medical care in our area since 2011. We cater to clients in their own homes, assisted living facilities, or family members' homes. We start by conducting a brief assessment to understand each client's needs and create a personalized care plan. Our services include personal care such as showers, baths, hair care, nail care, dressing, and oral care. We also offer transportation for errands and doctor's appointments, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and respite care. Additionally, we provide training classes for CPR, notary services, and DCW (Direct Care Worker) classes. Whether you need assistance with daily life, meal preparation, or companionship, we are here to help.

Our Training

We take great pride in the training our care givers receive. All of our care givers have PCA Certification or higher, fingerprint clearance cards, are drug tested, have valid CPR cards, food handler cards, are TB tested annually, and undergo ongoing training. This includes learning about diseases and disabilities, dementia specific skills, and basic care giving and safety courses. We believe that this comprehensive training is essential for providing the best possible care to our clients.
