Green Hill Farm

Green Hill Farm is a secluded and serene venue located outside of historic Antietam, providing a perfect space to unwind and enjoy. We are a full-service venue with staffing, coordination, and optional bar service included with each event.

Our Story

Purchased in 1985 by the Froboucks and currently owned by their daughter, Erin Moshier, the farm is rich with history as well as small town charm. The farmhouse was built in 1848 adjacent to the carriage house which was a wagon shop in the early - mid 1800's. The carriage house was completely restored in 2021 and is now the floral design studio. Sadly, the original bank barn burned around 1976. The new event barn was built using old fashioned mortise and tenon joinery in 2016. Lovely stone walls and gardens adorn the property. Be sure to take a walk through the dahlia garden mid-summer - fall for breathtaking views! Green Hill Farm is completely private and secluded, making it the ideal location for a wedding or event.

We also offer optional bar service, which can be tailored to your specific needs and preferences. Our staff is dedicated to making your event unforgettable, and we strive to provide the highest level of service and attention to detail.

In addition to our event coordination and bar service, we also offer a range of wedding and event packages to suit your needs and budget. From simple to completely serviced, we offer a range of packages and price points. Choose one of our detailed weekend packages or select the all-inclusive one-day Lily package (only available on Sundays). For smaller events, our elopement package can be booked on available dates within 4 months.

Our venue is equipped with everything you need for a beautiful event, including the gardens, event barn, meandering pathways, and historical buildings. We also have an extensive decor collection and gorgeous florals to enhance your event. Our staff is always available to help with any needs or questions you may have, ensuring that your event is nothing short of perfect.

Team Building and Company Picnics

At Green Hill Farm, we understand the importance of team building and company picnics. Positive reinforcement, creativity, and collaboration are essential for a successful and cohesive team. Our secluded farm offers a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for encouraging creativity, enhancing communication, improving morale, building trust, and developing confidence among team members.

Our small business retreats can be one day or a whole weekend. Incorporate team building games and exercises or simply bring in a food truck and lounge around the campfire and cornhole boards. We offer a variety of amenities, including an open-aired barn venue, staff, silo bar, tables/chairs/linens, decor/florals/setup, campfire with wood and seating, and 4 sets corn hole boards & tiki torches. Our staff will handle cleanup and trash removal, ensuring that you can focus on enjoying your event.

We offer competitive pricing for our company picnics, with a base rate of $600 for 5 hours and 50 guests ($25 per additional guest). For Saturday events, the rate is $850 per hour with a 5-hour minimum and must be booked within 3 months of the event. We also offer a bar service package with alcohol as an add-on.

Floral Design Studio

Our floral design studio is located in the beautifully restored carriage house on the property. Here, our skilled floral designers create stunning arrangements using fresh flowers from our gardens and other local sources. Whether you need flowers for a wedding, event, or simply to brighten up your home or office, our designers can create custom arrangements that reflect your personal style and preferences.
