Meet Dr. Richard Motos, DPM, FACFAS

Doctor Richard Motos is a highly skilled and experienced board-certified podiatrist with over 15 years of dedicated practice in foot and ankle surgery. Dr. Motos is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (FACFAS), demonstrating his commitment to excellence and advanced medical training.

His journey began at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Northern Illinois University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. Dr. Motos excelled academically, consistently making the Dean's List and becoming a member of the prestigious Golden Key National Honor Society.

Following his undergraduate studies, Dr. Motos pursued his passion for podiatric medicine at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Upon graduating with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree, he undertook a rigorous three-year internship and podiatric residency program, specializing in foot and ankle surgery and wound healing. He trained at renowned institutions such as Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and affiliated hospitals throughout New York City and Long Island.

Dr. Motos is deeply committed to providing compassionate and personalized care to each patient. He possesses a unique cultural background as a first-generation Filipino-American, allowing him to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds. Dr. Motos is fluent in both English and Spanish, ensuring effective communication and understanding for all his patients.
