Welcome to my page! I'm Nathan Obregon, but most people call me 'Nate' or even the recent moniker 'Nate from State Farm'. As a local State Farm agent based in the vibrant city of Schertz, TX, I proudly serve our wonderful neighbors in Cibolo, Selma, Universal City, Live Oak, New Braunfels, Marion, Converse, Garden Ridge, Seguin, San Marcos, and San Antonio. Licensed to cover the entire state of Texas, I enjoy connecting with customers from cities as far-reaching as McAllen, Houston, Austin, Dallas, El Paso, Corpus Christi, and Laredo, among others. Basically, I can insure any customer in the entire state of Texas.

Having spent over 15 years in commercial lending and financial services, I took a leap of faith in the Summer of 2020 to establish my State Farm business. Despite opening my office on November 2, 2020, amidst the challenges of the COVID pandemic, I firmly believe it was the perfect time to pursue my entrepreneurial dreams. This journey has taught me valuable lessons, and I attribute our office's early success in the insurance industry to my unwavering determination and hard work. Selling insurance sure feels like my true calling, and I'm eager to see where the future takes me and my dedicated team.

On a personal note, I've called various cities in Texas home, including Dallas, Austin, Houston, Weslaco, San Benito, and Edinburg in the Rio Grande Valley. However, I finally feel settled in the San Antonio and Schertz area. A proud graduate of the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley, where I earned my BBA in Business-Marketing and my Masters of Business Administration in 2015, I'm deeply rooted in the Texas community. When I'm not at the office, you'll find me cherishing moments with my amazing wife Terri of 15 years and our sons Ethan and Nathaniel. Ethan is wrapping up his studies at Texas State, while Nathaniel is gearing up for middle school. Coaching my son's flag football and basketball teams fuels my competitive spirit, and I relish every moment on the sidelines with my little guy, NJ. In my downtime, I enjoy golfing, salt-water fishing, and indulging my inner foodie by exploring new local eateries. So, if you have any favorite restaurants to recommend, I'm all ears and stomach!
