Our Roots in Service

Our family's dedication to serving others began in the 1980s when our mother, Marian R. Maher, initiated her journey in the funeral industry as an organist and pianist. She brought the music of solace and comfort to grieving families across the south side of Chicago while raising her family in Mount Greenwood. Her passion for service naturally evolved as she transitioned into the administrative role at a local funeral home. Observing the profound need for comprehensive services, Marian envisioned a funeral home that could offer not only traditional funeral arrangements but also legal and financial guidance. This vision inspired John N. Maher to combine his legal expertise with his family's legacy and establish a space where families could find comprehensive support during a time of profound loss.
