Providing a safe, happy place for every child to learn and grow!
Established in 2001, Norwood Christian Preschool has provided a nurturing and enriching environment for children in the Norwood community and beyond. We are a non-denominational Christian preschool dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential in a loving and supportive atmosphere. Our philosophy centers on nurturing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual growth, emphasizing Christian values and family principles. We strive to cultivate a sense of self-worth in every child while instilling the importance of respect, mindfulness, and kindness toward others.
Beyond imparting early childhood education, we aim to introduce basic Christian beliefs rooted in biblical teachings. We believe that a strong foundation in faith, compassion, and moral values is essential to a child's overall development. Recognizing the importance of flexibility and quality childcare, we offer various program options to cater to the diverse needs of families.

- Half-Day Program (8:30am-11:30am): This program provides a morning of stimulating learning activities and interactions with peers. It's a perfect option for families who are looking for a focused preschool experience.
- Lunch Bunch Program (8:30am-12:30pm): This program extends the Half-Day Program to include a supervised lunch period. Families who need extended childcare will find this option convenient and value-added.
- Full-Day Program (8:30am-3:30pm): This comprehensive program provides a full day of educational experiences, including morning activities, lunch, afternoon activities, and outdoor play. It offers a balanced and enriching environment for children to learn and grow.
The Enrollment Process
We believe that a smooth transition into our program is essential for both children and families.
Parents begin the enrollment process by scheduling a tour of our facility with the Program Director. This allows parents and their children to meet our staff, observe our classrooms in action, and ask any questions they may have. The tour is followed by the completion of a Registration Form and a non-refundable registration fee.
Once accepted into the program, parents are required to provide a copy of their child's most recent physical examination, lead screening, and complete an Emergency Card. Sharing information about any therapeutic, educational, social, or support services received by their child is also encouraged.
Parents also complete a Developmental History for their child, outlining their interests and needs, as well as the family's interests and needs. This comprehensive information helps us create individualized learning plans and support each child's unique development.
